Inpainting is an AI image editing technique where you mask a specific area of an image and have the model regenerate just that region based on a new prompt, while keeping everything outside the mask untouched. Got a great generated image but the hands look wrong? Mask the hands, describe what you want, and the AI redraws only that section to blend naturally with the surroundings.

For NSFW content creation, inpainting is the precision tool. It handles clothing removal, facial expression changes, fixing anatomical errors (AI still struggles with fingers), adjusting body proportions, or modifying specific elements without regenerating an entire image you're otherwise happy with. The technique separates quick one-shot generation from polished, intentional results. Most serious users of spend as much time inpainting as they do on initial generation, it's the editing phase that makes raw outputs look finished.
